DON TAVOLACCI

Managing Director and co-founder, CRH Northwest. Mr. Tavolacci is responsible for formulating the team platform, for providing vision, and is responsible for acquisition, construction and finance. Mr. Tavolacci is an engineer, skilled in business creation and development, strategic planning, project management and in providing leadership in challenging situations. Since 1976, he has been involved in various facets of the real estate industry within the Western US, including residential and commercial real estate design, development and construction, and commercial brokerage.

Outside of the real estate industry, Mr. Tavolacci was involved in the creation of several successful businesses. He co-founded and for five years led the venture capital backed life science start-up Cellegy Pharmaceuticals. He recruited a new CEO and remained on the board, helping the company through an IPO. Mr. Tavolacci started his career as a project engineer for Exxon Corporation. Currently, Mr. Tavolacci serves as director on the Deschutes/Jefferson/Crook Counties CASA board. He is a graduate of Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR with a B.S. in Engineering-Physics with Honors, and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Austin Evans

AUSTIN EVANS

Mr. Austin Evans joined in July 2008 as an analyst, increasing the level of sophistication in the company's underwriting and analysis. He currently oversees operations and personnel at our assisted living and multifamily assets and is heavily involved with acquisitions, dispositions, technical support and company operations.

Previously Mr. Evans taught high school mathematics for 8 years in Austin, TX, Amherst, MA, and Bend, OR. After graduating from Pepperdine University, he enjoyed a brief professional baseball career with the Texas Rangers organization. Mr. Evans has a BS in Mathematics from Pepperdine and an MA in Education from the University of Massachusetts. He and his wife, Sara, have three children and are involved in the ministry of adoption of orphans.
